Hi, I’m Anja McDonald, the photographer behind the images you see on this site.

I am an award winning and published photographer originally from Denmark in Scandinavia. I now live in beautiful, sunny Perth with my husband and our three children, where I work out of my studio in Ocean Reef and on location.

In addition to running a successful portrait business, I am also an educator and speaker in the photography industry. I am well known for my use of lighting and editing style and by pairing that with Scandinavian simplicity, I have developed my signature style in photography. I also have a degree in finance and I am a mad dog lover.
